Catagni, un privilegio incontrarlo

 

Messaggio: I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Professor Maurizio Catagni. I will always remember the way he thought about Ilizarov—not just as a technique, but from the perspective of the patient. I first met him in 2015 in an Ilizarov Conference in Andhra Pradesh, India. I admired his clear thinking, his straightforwardness, and the honesty with which he approached both the patient and the problem. Meeting him and listening to his talks was a privilege. His way of thinking has left a lasting impression on me. I will miss him. My heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the entire Ilizarov community.
